Discipline - Bullying

My grandson is in Primary 1 (not in this school)
My daughter is a Parent Volunteer in that school.
She shared with me that a P4 pupil tried to commit suicide by jumping off the building. He was bullied for many years.
When I heard that, my first reaction was:
"Why is his form teacher so 'blind' & 'deaf'?

Unit 13: Owl Babies

Three baby owls, Sarah, Percy and Bill, wake up one night in their hole in a tree to find that their mother has gone. So they sit on a branch and wait. Darkness gathers and the owls grow anxious, wondering when their mother will return. But, at last, she does, and they bounce up and down with joy, welcoming her home.

Show & Tell - My Ambition by Pierina Phan

Good afternoon Mrs Choy and friends. Today, I am going to share with you what I want to be when I grow up. Just like the name of our class 1 Agape, my ambition starts with the letter 'A'. Can you guess what it is ? My ambition is to be an artist. I want to be an artist because I love to draw. I also wish my drawings could help others to be more creative and imaginative.
There are many different types of artwork an artist can do. These include pencil drawing, oil painting, water-colour painting, sketching and Chinese brush paintings. My favourite artist is Vincent van Gogh. His paintings are well-liked by others for their beautiful strong colours. He had more than 2,000 paintings. Here are some examples. My parents told me that there was even a song named 'Vincent - Starry, Starry Night' made to remember him and his painting.
During my free time, I love to draw. At the moment, most of my drawings are of flowers and characters from my favourite movies like 'Frozen' and 'The Little Mermaid'. Here is one of my drawings entitled 'The Magical Flower'. Do you like it ? I wish one day we can draw a big painting together for Mrs Choy. That's the end of my Show And Tell. Thank you for your attention.

Show & Tell - My Ambition by Saige Fong

Good afternoon Mrs Choy and friends. Today, I am going to show and tell you what I want to be when I grow up. These are the things I need - pointe shoes and tutu.
This is the place I will work, in an old theatre.
Can you guess my ambition ? Yes, you are right. My ambition is to be a ballerina. As a ballerina, I can twirl, skip and leap to the beat of the beautiful music. I started to like ballet when I saw little girls in pink tutus dancing. They looked so pretty. I got interested in ballet so my mum brought me to an old theatre to watch my first ballet production "The Nutcracker". I hope one day I will become the prima ballerina in the "Swan-lake Production". Will you come and watch me dance ? This is the end of my Show And Tell. I hope you have enjoyed it. Thank you for listening.

Show & Tell - My Ambition by Kaylen Teo

Good afternoon Mrs Choy and friends. Today, I am going to tell you about my ambition. Can you guess what it is ? Here are some clues. I have to wear a white coat. I have to wear a stethoscope.
I give medicine to my patients. Yes, my ambition is to be a vet. I want to be a vet because I love animals. A vet takes care of sick and injured animals. A vet also teaches owners how to care for their pets. Do you know that certain nuts like almonds, peanuts and walnuts are poisonous to dogs ? This is an important fact to know and vets must teach owners about things like this.
When I become a vet, my pet hospital will be called "Furry Friends Animal Hospital". It will have windows shaped like paw prints and a door shaped like a bone ! I will build pretty and cosy rooms for animals that need to stay overnight. This is the end of my Show And Tell. Thank you for your attention.
